Betsy Wymer (she/her/hers)

Betsy is a doctorate-prepared registered nurse who joined the SVS PSO team as Director of Quality in 2021. She brings more than 30 years of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Most recently, she served as Director of National Quality Campaigns at the American College of Cardiology in Washington, D.C.

In her current role, Betsy provides clinical expertise across participating sites, supports initiatives to improve patient outcomes through program development and management, conducts evidence-based research, and leads the development and presentation of quality-focused content for annual meetings and educational webinars.

In 2024, she earned her Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) credential to support the VQI National Quality Initiative. She also oversees the Fellows in Training (FIT) Program, which launched in 2022.
