Dr. Akio Kodama is a Professor in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Aichi Medical University, Japan. He specializes in the management of chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), with particular expertise in distal bypass surgery and endovascular interventions for complex peripheral artery disease.
His clinical practice encompasses both open and endovascular aortic repair, including EVAR and TEVAR, as well as the management of visceral artery aneurysms. He has extensive experience in tailoring revascularization strategies, aiming to improve limb salvage and overall patient outcomes.
