Dr. Laura Drudi is a vascular surgeon–scientist at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) and an Associate Professor at the Université de Montréal. Her research focuses on amputation prevention, frailty, and health inequities in patients with peripheral arterial disease, with a particular emphasis on social and structural determinants of health. She leads community-engaged research initiatives across Quebec, working with patients, caregivers, clinicians, and community partners to improve limb preservation and vascular care for vulnerable populations. Dr. Drudi has completed advanced training in epidemiology at McGill University, complex limb salvage interventions in Dendermonde, and implementation science at University of California, San Francisco. Through her clinical work and research program, she aims to develop scalable strategies to reduce preventable amputations and improve equitable access to vascular care.
