Matthew A. Corriere MD, MS is the Luther M. Keith Professor within the Department of Surgery and the Director of Vascular Diseases & Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He also serves as the Medical Director of Non-Invasive Vascular Services and Program Director for the Ohio State University Vascular Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Corriere’s clinical practice includes treatment of aortic, carotid, mesenteric, renal, and peripheral artery disease. He currently serves as a member of the US FDA Medical Devices Advisory Committee as a Circulatory Systems Devices Panelist and Co-Chair of the Society for Vascular Surgery Patient Engagement Task Force. Dr. Corriere is a member of the American Heart Association Peripheral Vascular Disease Council, the Society for Vascular Surgery Conflict of Interest and Professionalism Committee, the Vascular Cures Foundation Advisory Board. He is past president of the Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society and past chair of the Society for Vascular Surgery Clinical Research Committee.
Dr. Corriere’s research focuses on patient preferences, shared decision making, patient-doctor communication, risk stratification, and clinical outcomes. He has received research support from the United States Food and Drug Administration, the American Heart Association, the Vascular Cures Foundation, the Society for Vascular Surgery Foundation, the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, Ohio State University Physicians, Inc., and the Healthy State Alliance of Ohio.
