Jeffrey Siracuse, MD, MBA is Professor of Surgery and Radiology at Boston University, Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Vice Chair of Surgery for Quality and Patient Safety and System Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Boston Medical Center Health System. Dr. Siracuse completed general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Siracuse has been the principal investigator on a large number of research projects, with external support from the NIH and industry. He was the founding Chair of the Society for Vascular Surgery’s Appropriateness Committee. He served two terms as the Medical Director of the Vascular Study Group of New England. Dr. Siracuse is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed journal articles. He has held leadership positions in national vascular surgery organizations and has co-authored multiple practice guidelines. He is an editor of Annals of Vascular Surgery and served on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
