Dr. Loay S. Kabbani, MD, MHSA, FACS is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at Michigan state University. He works at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He serves as Associate Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and is Vice chair of Surgery. Dr. Kabbani received his medical degree from the Damascus University , completed his general surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital, and his Vascular fellowship at the University of Michigan . He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from the University of Michigan.
His clinical expertise spans aortic, peripheral, interventions, with particular interest in limb salvage, and complex aneurysm repair. An active contributor to the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery, Dr. Kabbani has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is widely regarded for his mentorship in surgical training.
