Summary: The goal of this project is to use artificial intelligence (AI) to create key steps for common vascular surgical procedures to guide surgical training and education. A video library of carotid endarterectomy surgical videos was created using a head-mounted camera worn by the surgeon and uploaded to a secure cloud. Eight key steps were described to the AiboHealth AI video annotation system and the AI video annotation system would then prospectively annotate subsequent videos as they were uploaded to the cloud. Manual validation was performed of the AI’s annotations.
