This session will provide attendees with an overview of relevant vascular knowledge and skills essential to physicians practicing vascular surgery and vascular medicine. Information includes ultrasound physics, vascular anatomy and hemodynamics as well as ultrasound result interpretation. This session may serve, in part, as preparation for the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) examination, which is a credential required to be eligible to sit for the American Board of Surgery’s Vascular Surgery Qualifying Examination. This session meets the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI) certification and recertification requirements.
