Steven is the VQI data manager and abstractor at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Steven is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Medical Technologist) and a Systemic Family Therapist by training.
During his tenure, he improved our long-term follow-up across all participating registries and contributed significant insight into our quality improvement
He also supports Cedars Sinai Heart Institute in clinical research
In addition to his role at Cedars, Steven supports the United States Navy Undersea Rescue Medicine asset and participates in NATO exercises. He applies the knowledge of hyperbaric medicine for the treatment of divers who are experiencing decompression sickness, who are submariners. In his prior active duty tours, he supported infantry Marines of the First Marine Division, sailors, soldiers, and airmen to ensure their medical readiness for worldwide deployment
