Dr. Michael Youngjin Lee is a general surgery resident at Henry Ford Hospital, working closely with the division of Vascular Surgery on clinical outcomes research under the mentorship of Dr. Loay Kabbani and Dr. Alexander Shepard. He is a recipient of the Betty Jane and Alfred J. Fisher Vascular Surgery Research Fund. Prior to residency, Dr. Lee graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine after switching careers from public education as a high school chemistry teacher.
