Dr. Roberto Falso is a vascular surgeon at the Careggi University Hospital and a second-year PhD student at the University of Florence. He completed his residency in November 2024, presenting a thesis on hybrid and endovascular arch replacement. His main areas of interest include endovascular aortic surgery—with a particular focus on aortic arch disease—open aortic surgery, carotid surgery, and peripheral endovascular surgery. As a PhD student, his research project focuses on a total iodine contrast-free protocol for complex endovascular abdominal aortic repair.
