Nora Dunlap is a doctorate-prepared Senior Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland Medical Center in the Department of Vascular Surgery, where she also serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Center for Vascular Research. As an ANCC board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, she brings over 20 years of nursing experience spanning critical care, surgery, oncology, and emergency medicine. Nora leads the vascular wound clinic and co-leads the limb preservation team at UMMC, with clinical and research interests focused on vascular compression syndromes, VTE, critical limb ischemia, wound healing, and limb salvage. She has authored and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and delivered more than 60 presentations at national and international conferences, including the American Venous Forum, Eastern Vascular Society, and Society of Vascular Nursing. Nora serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Nursing and is an active member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Vascular Nursing, American Venous Forum, and CLI Global. For the 2026 SVN Annual Conference, she serves as Program Co-Chair.
