Dr. Ruddy attended Jefferson Medical College before completing General SurgMery training at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Emory University. She joined the faculty at MUSC and the Ralph H Johnson VAMC in 2014 and in addition to prioritizing patient care, she has dedicated her career to basic and translational research focused on the pathophysiology of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
