Dr. Jesús Porras-Colón is a vascular and endovascular surgeon with specialized expertise in complex aortic disease, fenestrated and branched endovascular aneurysm repair (F/BEVAR), aortic arch interventions, advanced endovascular technologies, and vascular outcomes research.He completed his Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Integrated Residency at the University of Costa Rica (2015–2019) and advanced fellowship training at L'Hôpital Marie Lannelongue in Paris, France (2019). As Faculty at the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (CCSS, 2019–2024), He performed the first custom-made complex endovascular aortic arch repairs and the first fully transfemoral branched endovascular procedures in Costa Rica.He currently serves as Treasurer of CELA (Cirujanos Endovasculares de Latinoamérica), the Society of Endovascular Surgeons of Latin America.His clinical and research interests include complex thoracoabdominal and aortic arch aneurysm repair, F/BEVAR, radiation-reduction technologies, IVUS and fusion imaging, alternative EVAR/TEVAR access techniques, deep venous arterialization (DVA), minimally invasive endovenous therapies, and innovation in endovascular training.He is the author of 62 peer-reviewed publications
