Claudia Theis, MD, is a general surgeon from Brazil and a Research Fellow in the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Under the mentorship of Dr. Mark A. Farber and Dr. Luigi Pascarella, her research focuses on complex aortic disease, peripheral arterial disease, limb salvage, dialysis access, and vascular surgery outcomes. Her academic work includes clinical outcomes research, registry-based analyses, comparative effectiveness studies, and the application of machine learning and predictive analytics to improve risk stratification and support evidence-based decision-making in vascular surgery.
