Dr. Franklin Farid is a vascular surgeon at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center/The Heart Hospital Plano after general surgery residency training at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Farid earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
His clinical interests include complex aortic pathology, cerebrovascular disease, limb salvage, dialysis access, and venous disease, with a particular interest in both open and endovascular techniques. His academic work has focused on outcomes in pulmonary embolism intervention, thoracic aortic disease, and complex vascular reconstruction.
Dr. Farid is passionate about surgical education and advancing evidence-based vascular care through clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration.
