Christopher Holden-Wingate is a third-year medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Prior to medical school, he served as a clinical research coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (2021–2024), where he coordinated clinical trials for novel vascular devices and therapeutics. He is a recipient of the NIH-funded Harvard-Longwood Short-Term Research Training in Vascular Surgery (T35) grant under the mentorship of Dr. Marc L. Schermerhorn at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the 2025 SVS Foundation Student Research Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Mohamad A. Hussain in the VESELab at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He plans to pursue a career in vascular surgery and will be applying to residency programs in the 2027–2028 cycle.
