Mina L. Boutrous, MD, RPVI is an assistant professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He has graduated summa cum laude from Cairo University-Faculty of Medicine in 2009. He trained in Cardiovascular surgery in his hometown of Cairo with special emphesis on aortic surgery and pursued an Advanced Aortic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, which he completed in 2015. He then completed an integrated vascular surgery residency at St.Louis University, graduating in June 2020. He has special interest in all aspects of vascular surgery including cerebrovasular disease, aortic surgery, dialysis access, peripheral arterial disease and venous disease. He also has a passion for surgical education being part of the Deprtment of Surgery at UCONN. He is a member of multiple regional and national professional societies.
