Maria Wellenstein is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in
Nursing in 2008 from Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Currently, Maria is working an
Inpatient Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner at the Medical College of Wisconsin/Froedtert Hospital
(MCW/FMLH) in Milwaukee Wisconsin where she has been for the past 10 years.
She is an active member of SVN, SVS, CCNA as well as Midwest Vascular where she
has presented multiple times and helps organize the APP break out sessions. She was appointed to the
Inaugural SVS APP steering Committee where she is a member of the APP Planning Committee for the
annual SVS-VAM conference.
