Ali Baird, DNP, AGACNP-BC, is an accomplished nursing leader with extensive experience in cardiovascular and vascular care, clinical operations, quality improvement, and professional nursing leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and began her career at Centennial Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked in the Coronary Care Unit.
Ali went on to complete her Master of Nursing Practice at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, specializing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She then joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she practiced in Vascular Medicine for six years. During her time at Vanderbilt, she also earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
In fall 2023, Ali transitioned to HCA Healthcare as Director of the Cardiac and Vascular Service Line, where she led strategic initiatives and quality improvement efforts across cardiovascular and vascular services. In April 2026, she transitioned into her current role as Director of Clinical Nursing Operations. In this role, Ali supports enterprise-wide clinical nursing operations by advancing practice standardization, operational efficiency, nursing excellence, and care delivery strategies across HCA Healthcare.
Ali is actively engaged in national professional organizations. She serves as President of the Society for Vascular Nursing and contributes to the Society for Vascular Medicine as APP Chair. She is also involved in planning the VIVA conference for the Vascular Care Team. Her commitment to advancing nursing practice and improving patient outcomes continues to guide her professional work.
