I am a professor of surgery in the division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at the University of Florida. In addition to being a clinically active surgeon, I also serve as the program director for the vascular surgery fellowship while also leading a funded research laboratory. My role within the SVS VQI is as chair of the EVAR registry which synergizes with many of my clinical research interests surrounding comparative effectiveness research and quality improvement initiatives.
