Dr Burgess completed his Undergraduate and Medical School Degrees at UNC-Chapel Hill. He completed a General Surgery Residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Since 2002, Dr Burgess has been in private practice in Charlotte, NC. He practices Open and Endovascular surgery with a special interest in Dialysis Access and all the vascular issues related to ESRD patients. He also has an interest in clinical research, participating in multiple dialysis related trials.
