Michael J. Singh, MD, is Chief of Surgical Services and Chief of Vascular Surgery at UPMC Shadyside, Co-director of the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute Aortic Center, and Chair of the Peripheral Vascular and Interventional Oversight Committee at UPMC Shadyside. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, Distinguished Fellow in the Society for Vascular Surgery, member of the Society for University Surgeons and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He joined UPMC in 2012 after working at the University of Rochester Medical Center.. Dr. Singh’s clinical expertise include the management of complex aortic pathology, aortic dissections, thoracic aortic aneurysms, thoracic outlet syndrome, and venous insufficiency. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester, Medical Degree and General Surgery Residency at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He obtained his iexecutive MBA at the Univ of Pittsburgh Katz Business School.
