Benjamin S. Brooke, MD, PhD, FACS, DFSVS, is a Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Brooke also leads surgical health services research efforts in the University of Utah’s Department of Surgery, serving as Director of the Utah Intervention Quality and Implementation Research (U-INQUIRE) group. Dr. Brooke represents the Utah Chapter of the American College of Surgeons on the Board of Governors, is the former president of the Rocky Mountain Vascular Society and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery. He has also served in several leader positions within the Vascular Quality Inititative (VQI), including Chair of the VQI Carotid Endarterectomy Registry Work Group and the VQI Research Advisory Committee over the past 6 years
