David H. Rothstein, MD, MS, is a pediatric surgeon at the Seattle Children's Hospital and Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington. His clinical interests lie in neonatal minimally invasive surgery, oncologic surgery, and peritoneal dialysis. His research is primarily in clinical outcomes, focusing on quality improvement in management of post-operative pleural drainage and long-term vessel health follow-up of patients who have undergone cannulation for extra-corporeal life support. He is active in the Western Pediatric Surgical Research Consortium and is co-chair of APSA's Vascular Surgery Committee.
