Dr. Lerner is a vascular and endovascular surgeon at Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Northwestern University and earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed his general surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his fellowship in vascular surgery. During his training, Dr. Lerner served as a senior registrar in vascular surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in England and had the honor of being selected to address the Royal College of Surgeons on the state of American surgical training.
Dr. Lerner is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery. He is the Vice Chair of the SVS Coding and Reimbursement Committee and serves on the faculty of the annual SVS Coding Course.
