Dr. Dorsey is a Professor of Surgery in the Section of Vascular Surgery at the University of Chicago and serves as both the Associate Dean for Medical Student Academics and Advancement at the Pritzker School of Medicine and Senior Vice Chair of Faculty and Educational Affairs in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Dorsey served as the founding Chair of the SVS Young Surgeons Section and she is currently serving a four year term on the SVS Executive Board.
