Wei Zhou, MD

Dr. Zhou is a Professor and Chief of Vascular Surgery at University of Arizona. She finished her general surgery residency in University of California- San Diego and vascular fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Zhou had held academic faculty positions at Baylor College of Medicine and Stanford University.
Dr. Zhou is known for her work on carotid and aortic diseases with over 150 peer-reviewed publications and numerous invited presentations at national and international meetings. She is a site-PI for more than 30 clinical trials and several NIH-sponsored multi-centered trials and VA Cooperative studies. Her research has been funded by NIH, AHA, ACS, and VA Merit.
