This session formally launches the Enrico Ascher Vascular Innovation Institute and introduces the SVS Foundation's vision for building a pathway for vascular surgeon innovators. Honoring Dr. Enrico Ascher's longstanding commitment to innovation, mentorship, and advancing the specialty, the Institute is designed to support vascular surgeons pursuing technology development, entrepreneurship, and clinician-led innovation.

Attendees will learn how the Institute, in partnership with Lab2Market, will launch a new entrepreneurial bootcamp designed specifically for vascular surgeons with early-stage ideas and technologies. The bootcamp will serve as the Institute's first formal educational and mentorship pathway, providing selected participants with structured guidance in market assessment, regulatory strategy, commercialization, and business development through expert advising and interactive coursework.

The session will feature perspectives from vascular surgeon innovators, an overview of the Institute's long-term vision and goals, and details about the entrepreneurial bootcamp application and selection process.
